Red Cross armband, ID-ed

Red Cross armband, ID-ed

Quick Overview

Cotton armband as worn by all medics. The cross is attached with the correct zig-zag stitching. The armband shows heavy use but has a great patina. It is complete with its original steel safety pin. The armband is ID-ed on the backside to Ernest M. Penland, ASN 34605877, who enlisted on February 9, 1942. The arnband also has the Geneva Convention stamp with the handwritten medical registration number of Penland. ID-ed medical items such as these are very hard to find. Superb item with research potential.

Very good condition.
