Report After Action, 103rd Infantry Division

Report After Action, 103rd Infantry Division

Quick Overview

This is the official 103rd Division history book that was printed in Austria in 1945. This hard cover book still has its dust jacket, which is usually missing. The dust jacket is torn and separated at the spine but it kept the book in good shape. The book contains 166 pages with many photos, drawings and maps. This is the hard to find original version, not a reprint. The book has a name in gold on the cover which is likely the name of the veteran who served with the 103rd. Russell A. Pitts, ASN 37356957, enlisted on June 24, 1943. In January 1945 General McAuliffe of the 101st Airborne Division and famous for his 'Nuts' reply at Bastogne became the commander of the 103rd Division. This book is a 'must have' for the WWII history buff or anyone with a specific interest in this unit. View the many photos. It is a big book and it will be shipped as a parcel.
