Quick Overview

Wooden case that contained 8 rations = 48 cans. There were 8 cans with Meat & Beans, 8 cans with Vegetable Stew, 8 can with Vegetable Hash & 24 cans bread unit. 6 cans made 3 meals per day for a GI. Each meal consisted of a meat unit and a bread unit. Produced by Quality Foods Inc. June 1944 dated. The crate is quite nice but one strip of wood on the long size is slightly loose misses a piece of wood in the corner. A strip of wood is also missing from the bottom. Still it is nice for display. This crate was recently found at a small military show in Ste Mere Eglise. Ration crates are becoming harder to find.

Good condition.
