Quick Overview

An inventive design made of Masonite. When many materials became scare during the war Coca Cola looked for other ways to carry bottles. One of the results was this neckgrip carrier. Its is marked with the patent number 2339598 (see photo of 1944 patent). The original cotton rope is long gone and was replaced by a leather thong. This is easy to fix. Also see pages from The Coca Cola Bottler magazine of January 1944 and the earlycoke.com website. Very nice and hard to find wartime Coca Cola item. Today these are being reproduced, this is the real thing!

Very good condition.
