    Multi color document that was presented to any GI who served with the 29th Division from D Day until the capture of St Lô. It was hand signed by General Gerhardt, commader of the 29th Division. This particular document belonged to T/5 Ralph F. Grogan, ASN 35377444. The document measures about 20 x 15 centimeters. They are actually harder to find than the Ike D Day letter. The document has research potential and will make a great addition to the collection. Package shipping with tracking is mandatory for this item.

  10. 1st Division letter and patch

    Letter with patch sent to a patch collector in February 1946. The letter is signed by Major General Clift Andruss who served with the Big Red One throughout the war and became the Divisional commander in December 1944. Andrus led the Division from the Battle of the Bulge to its last combat action in Falkenau, Czechoslovakia. He became a Major General in 1945. The patch is an unused greenback in superb shape. Unique item that is excellent for display.

  11. ID pass & document group 344th Engineers

    Group that belonged to Merle V. Snyder, ASN 20539770, who enlisted on January 17, 1941 and served with D Company of the 344th Engineering General Service Regiment. The unit was attached to the 7th Army and served all over Europe including Operation Dragoon. The group contains the early style leatherette ID pass which has not been stampend 'Inactive', a Western Union telegram and two cards. What makes the group extra cool is the small booklet in which Snyder kept track of the places he had been. It specifically mentions the landing in Southern France on August 15, 1944. Nice group for display and with a lot of potential for further research.
