Coca Cola insert of thick cardboard. This large sign measures about 76 x 129 centimeters. It is dated 1942 in the lower left corner and was presented in the Coca Cola 1942 Advertising Price List (see last photos). During the war Coca Cola could no longer produce advertising signs of enameled steel because all steel went to the war production. Cardboard signs were an alternative but not many survived and they are hard to find today. The "Bathing Girl" design is without a doubt one of the sexiest Coca Cola signs of WWII. The sign shows use and age but will make a great and unique display. Please note, due to the size exact postage has to be determined as it can not be shipped with regular mail. Good condition.
