Petty Pin Up gatefold "My lawyer wants me to..."

€30.00

Gatefold of Esquire magazine of June 1941. George Petty was the predecessor of Varga with Esquire magazine. His 'Petty-girls' soon became famous and his work was inspirational for nose-art on many planes. He also did a lot of artwork for advertisements. During 1941, his last year for Esquire magazine, Petty created a series of Pin Ups which were presented in the magazine as 'Gatefolds' (fold out posters). Stunning artwork that was most popular among GI's! Size is approximately 48 x 35.5 centimeters. This will look awesome framed! Very good condition.
