Coca Cola neckgrip bottle carrier
An inventive design made of Masonite. When many materials became scare during the war Coca Cola looked for other ways to carry bottles. One of the results was this neckgrip carrier. It is marked with the patent number 2339598 (see photo of 1944 patent). The carrier still has its original cotton rope which is often replaced. Also see pages from The Coca Cola Bottler magazine of January 1944 and the earlycoke.com website. Very nice and hard to find wartime Coca Cola item. These days this type of carrier is being reproduced, this is the real deal! Very nice and hard to find wartime Coca Cola item which is perfect for display. The Coca Cola bottles are for display only and do not come with the carrier. This is an item of the 1944Supply.com shop display. Very good condition.
