  5. NAVY M-1 helmet & fibre liner

    € 425.00
NAVY grey painted McCord 'fixed bail' M-1 steel shell with Hawley fibre liner. The steel shells has its orginal 11 row weave OD3 chinstrap with raised bar brass buckle. The strap at the buckle has a tear. The steel shell shows a considerable amount of rust. The grey paint is flakey but holds firmly. The heat stamp can no longer be read. There is a pencil mark (name?) on the inside. The Hawley liner features rayon suspension and rectangular aluminum washers. The fixed leather chinstrap is no longer present. The use of aluminum and brass indicate this is a liner of the earliest production. These materials were shortly after replaced by steel. The steel shell and liner and not in great shape but this is an original NAVY grey painted set which was found on a ship not too long ago. Original NAVY helmets are hard to find, especially with a fibre liner.

    Fair condition.

  7. St Clair type 5 liner

    € 525.00
This is the super rare low pressure type 5 liner produced by the St Clair. It combines the green interior paint of the earliest production lners with cotton suspension and removable chinstrap of later production liners. This is an odd combination that basically doesn't fit the time line in production of St Clair liners. Another indication of earliest production is the fact the liner has a molded SC in a box mark in the dome. It is under the common yellow stamp. The cotton suspension still features six sets of snaps to take the rayon headband. The liner originally had a cotton headband with wire buckle but this was falling apart and has been replaced with a used rayon headband that matches the condition of the liner nicely. The leather chinstrap is one of the earliest types with flat lever buckle and chinstrap holders that don't have the reenforcing tube. It is marked with the H in circle of Hagerstown. In all a superb liner that is without a doubt one of the rarest made by St Clair. This type is missing from most collections and this is your chance to obtain such a gem.

    Very good condition.

  8. Canadian made helmet net

    € 70.00
This is the two tone brown/green small size mesh Canadian made helmet. It is the knotted version. These are becoming exceedingly hard to find. There is a small number in stock, you get the one that is photographed separately (the net on the helmet is for display only). The net was used and may have a hole here or there. It will take some effort to get it over an M-1 helmet but it can done and it will look great. The fact the net was used gives the helmet a 'combat look'.
