Quick Overview

Double deck published by Esquire magazine in 1942 (but copyrighted 1941 on the box and Joker) and complete with its booklet. Deck A is still in its cellophane with 1 pack APC Co stamp (the 1 pack stamp was introduced in 1940). Deck B is no longer in its cellophane but is complete with its four suits, joker and Bridge scoring card and in great shape. The cards have gilt edges. The presentation box has slight wear. Dated on the Jokers and box. Varga was the Nr 1 Pin Up artist of all GI's! The 1942 Varga Pin Up double deck is hard to find, especially this nice. As advertised in various Esquire magazines of 1942 (see last two photos).

Very good condition.
