Original drawing of a scene at a bomber base in England by wartime artist Howell Dodd. Dodd worked for Associated Press and various magazines and newspapers during WWII and became very famous as a magazine illustrator after the war. On the back is a stamp with the date 2 May, 1944. The paper measures about 27.5 x 21.5 centimeters. This will look awesome framed. Also see photo of newspaper page of May 1944 with this particular illustration bottom right.
