Quick Overview

In its original paper innersleeve and cardboard sleeve. It was sent by PFC Ferdinand Frueh Jr, ASN 37621238, who enlisted on August 4, 1943 and served with Company L of the 232nd Infantry Regiment of the 42nd Division. The Division trained at Camp Gruber, Oklahoma and that is where the record was sent from. It has the date stamp August 14, 1944. That was a few months before the Division moved to Europe. The cardboard sleeve has some issues. One corner is missing, the other is taped (on the inside). Still it is a nice piece of WWII memorabilia ID-ed to a GI whi served with a frontline unit.

Good condition.
