M-41 field jacket, size 40R

€ 575.00

Quick Overview

1942 dated OD 3 shade cotton jacket with caramel colored buttons and crisp labels that still has its sheen. It has flannel lining and steel Talon zipper which works well. The jacket belonged to John P. Swederke, ASN 33246117, who enlisted on June 20, 1942. His full name, ASN and laundry mark are written under the flap of the zipper. The condition of this jacket may be considered 'mint'. It appears not to have been worn and the color is very strong. The only minor flaw is the absense of a single button at the waist strap. You'll be hardpressed to find a nicer M-41 jacket. Plus this one is ID-ed. A top piece for the collection is a hard to find big size.

Excellent condition.
