Quick Overview

Published by Esquire. The 1941 calendar was produced in 1940. All twelve months are present. Stunning artwork. This was the nr. 1 Pin Up calendar for all GI's! The calendar 1941 contains some of Varga's most delicate and sexy work (see January, March!, September and November!) Varga followed up George Petty as the Pin Up artist with Esquire magazine in 1941. His 'Varga-girls' soon became famous and his work was inspirational for nose-art on many planes and flightjackets. The 1941 calendar is the hardest one of all war years to find.

Very good condition.
