Quick Overview

Published by Esquire. The 1942 calendar was produced in 1941. It has all twelve months with stunning artwork present. This was the nr. 1 Pin Up calendar for all GI's! Varga followed up George Petty as the Pin Up artist with Esquire magazine in 1941. His 'Varga-girls' soon became famous and his work was inspirational for nose-art on many planes and flightjackets. This calendar seems not to have been used. Great wartime display item.

Very good condition.
